Landowners in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area cannot develop under Oregon’s property-rights law, the Court of Appeals ruled Wednesday.
A three-judge panel upheld a lower court ruling, saying the 85-mile corridor in Multnomah, Hood River and Wasco counties is exempt from Measure 37 because special rules were meant to comply with federal law. [link]
